From her arrival at TTG back in 1996, Ziny rapidly became an integral part of everyday operations at the office. Her presence and style earned respect, admiration and trust, even during complex or emotionally charged circumstances. To many clients, Ziny was the reliable and reassuring “voice on the phone” and “go-to person” for more than two generations, someone who always either knew the answer or could find out quickly.
But all good things must come to an end, and Ziny has entered a new stage of her life called early retirement. Nonetheless, we are delighted to remain connected to her in an Emeritus capacity. We hope to tempt her occasionally with the odd special project of interest, while being mindful of her new life of leisure.
Prior to almost 23 years as Administrative and Executive Assistant for TTG, Ziny's professional background included a successful corporate career in administration and marketing. Her interest in education led her to found, then chair her local School Council and her community’s Public Education Council. Ziny was an active volunteer in her children’s classrooms both as class aide and tutor. Her “family circle” now includes her two adult children and their spouses, one grand-dog, and a housecat who enjoys hanging out in her home office.
In retirement, Ziny plans to have more time to pursue interests and passions: horseback riding, following figure skating competitions, reading, baking, genealogy, travel with friends, movies and lobbying for improved and expanded community health services. We wish her well on her new life’s journey!
